next gen counsels

With next gen game cousels comming out will this make people think less of option to them in home theater market? The next gen counsels seem being taking more things way from seprate compents of home theater system.

    I don't think the next gen consoles will hurt the home theater market much. Home theater enthusiasts will still need/want amplifiers, displays, receivers, media players, speakers, etc... Consoles will only affect the media playback methods, but we still don't see much of a decline in CD/DVD player sales. Especially when you can by a DVD player for way under $100 now. I for one wouldn't think of replacing my CD/DVD transport with a console unit. I just don't think the processing and quality is there, for my tastes.
