Flat Panel TV recommendations

As I posted before I am moving into a new place and I have a great space above the fireplace for an LCD or a plasma. I'm looking in the 1000 dollar price range, hopefully around the 30 inch range. Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
