Working from a PC environment or with home electronics, shat's an easy way to copy DVDs? I'm talking about the non-copy protected ones here, but if I could copy the protected ones too that would be great. Not that I'd do that ;-D , just want to know.

Tue, September 14, 2004 - 9:24 PMDidn't they shut 123 software down? Anyhow, you could still get free stuff to do this. -

Re: DVD copying?
Wed, September 15, 2004 - 6:07 AMThey are still open and selling their product. There was a temporary injunction that stopped them for a bit but it was brief. Their product is real easy to use for anyone. The free stuff takes a bit more reading :) -

Re: DVD copying?
Sun, February 13, 2005 - 12:54 PMThere's a much easier way than what's been suggested so far, and much cheaper.
There are two FREE pieces of software you need.
DVD Decryptor
www.dvddecrypter.com/
Can be used to rip/burn both copyrighted and non-copyrighted dvds.
DVD Shrink
www.dvdshrink.org/
Used to "reauthor" Dvds to fit on a standard 4.7GB DVD
A simple google search will give good tutuorials on how to use them.
