I just bought a used DVDO iScan Plus on eBay, and ran into a problem that might or might not have been with the doubler-- I had no way of telling.
While I had low expectations, I sent off email to DVDO's technical support address explaining my problem and asking if they had any suggestions. A day later I got a wonderful response from someone named Adam-- he'd actually read my question, understood what I was asking, and sent me a real response that answered my question as well as anyone could have with the information I provided. Not only did he tell me what I needed to know about the iScan, he provided key information about the likely behavior of my projector.
(The bottom line is that I was futzing with the wrong settings on my projector, there was nothing wrong with the iScan, and after scratching my head and staring at buttons and knobs a while longer, I believe I've solved my problem.)
This is by far the best technical support experience I've had in years.
